creating a new, more modern version of 90210 is ridiculous. why ruin a perfectly good television show with a new one with a fairy pathetic (so far) cast? horrible.

taken from Wikipedia - Beverly Hills, 90210 was a popular primetime television drama series that aired from October 4, 1990, to May 17, 2000, on FOX in the United States and subsequently on various networks around the world. The show followed the lives of a group of teenagers living in the upscale, star-studded community of Beverly Hills, California and attending the fictitious West Beverly Hills High School and then-fictitious California University. The show was created by Darren Star and produced by Aaron Spelling and Spelling Television. The "90210" in the title refers to one of the suburb's postal ZIP codes.

Originally the central characters were twins Brandon (played by Jason Priestley) and Brenda Walsh (played by Shannen Doherty), who moved with their parents, Jim and Cindy, from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Beverly Hills. However, during the show's run, the focus shifted as characters came and went. first of all 90210 rocks!!!!!!!!! I mean I'm much younger so I never got to watch it when it came out but I'm watching it on the Soap Network in order and it's the best show I've ever seen! The best part about that show was that it revolved around MAJOR issues unlike some dramas today that only talk about relationships. 90210 had that of course, but it also talked about, like Keelie said drugs, alcohol, gay rights, AIDS, pregnancy, etc. Jason Priestley was the hottest guy on the show! I heart you Jason! (too bad he was so short)
I agree with Keelie. Why did they decide making a spinoff now? Why not when 90210 just ended? And Hilary Duff will kill the show (no offense). I like her but she's not a good enough actress to play a part in a drama series. By the way my favorite characters were Kelly, Brandon, Steve and Donna (no order). Followed by Dylan, Brenda, Valerie, David, Jesse, (no order) and I absolutely hate Andrea's part. Dylan and Brenda forever!
