Did you know that even though global warming exists, its not a threat to mankind and the environment?
The planet earth has a cycle of global warming and global cooling: the plant heats for about 25 years, then cools for about 25 years. But Al Gore doesn't want you to know this, because its part of the Liberal plan to scare United States citizens into wanting a bigger government in order to take care of this "problem."

leadyluvr u r wrong. Global warming does exist but it used to go in a pattern. Now because of all the bigger cars and gasoline fumes coming out r changing the pattern. Not in this lifetime but years later the world wont have ice at the north pole nor the south pole. It wont ever be the same if nobody does something about it!

Can you prove the pattern has been altered to the point where the planet only heats and doesn't cool? Because if the Earth has been cooling for SEVEN years STRAIGHT, you don't have an arguement.

Did you know that the population of polar bears has increased 400% since 1972? And that 2/3 of the population lives in Canada?
Did you know that the section of Anwar that holds drillable oil reserves lookes nothing like what it has been depicted as? It is a swampy area that is not suitable for wildlife!

Global warming is a big problem. Our world is not going to end now or in a while but it will get worse. Our natural resources are draning out and that is why we are making cars with a lot of miles to the gallon, thats why we are putting WWF commercials to warn people the dangers of maybe the animal such as the polar bear, bc it's not going to live by itself and that's why they need money and donations to help and make a difference. Also yes bags that you buy and take to the grocery store is another great thing! and also carpooling and helping other ppl out helps alot. I don't kno about the 7 on 7 off thing but i def. kno there is a lot of things you can do to help out the enviroment. This is a growing problem and the world is not going to end...knock on wood...but it is still a problem you can't jus cover up! Hope this helps!

laedyluvr my dad happens to work with scientists and weathermen. All of them together can predict what will happen later. Maybe not in this lifetime but maybe whenever any of us get grandkids or maybe even great-grandkids. The world will be completely changed. You cannot hide from it someday it will happen and we wont be able to stop it!!!

No, there is no hiding from it: the sun will be the end of the Earth, but it will not be the end of mankind.
Our grankids and great grankids will not suffer any kind of catastrophic alteration to the Earths climate, the cycle of warming and cooling will continue and mankind will exist LONG after the lifetimes of the people we will come to know and love.

Another thing: it seems people have made direct associations between economics and the environment. Let me just say that cars with highter mpgs have much more economic value than environmental value. Otherwise, car companies wouldn't bother dumping money into advancing technology to make cars more fuel efficient.

No offense people but global warming does exist. When the GREENHOUSE gases enter the earth only SOME of it goes to the earth. But now that the o-zone layer is getting thinner and thinner so more of these gases are entering our earth... CAUSING more and more HEAT making Antartica's snow melt!!!!! If you don't believe me watch the news! Where the o-zone layer has the big hole happens to be by Antartica! So there you have it!

Guys on Discovery they have this episode i don't kno when but it tests theories out, as in if you could cover a glacier with foil to stop it from melting, if you could put reflectors out in space to reflect the sun, so it's not so much on the earth...watch it if you are interested i'm sure it will talk about glomal warming...trust me it's happening but then again our world is not ending knock on wood...there are plently of other problems...war...poverty...cruelty to animals and pets...there are a lot of other problems this is just one of the many...

You know my grandma does the same thing with those plastic bags. She went to Spain once and she kept the grocery bags she got and crocheted them into purses for me and my two sisters (I still think it was just cause she’s cheap but it’s the thought that counts). Not very stylish but I use them to hold my garden tools and stuff so I still found them useful. I think it’d a good idea and very creative but it’s probably not going to take off in the fashion world (though with the things they come up with don‘t take my word for it) and they still find use. Just remember you’ll probably take it a little more personal when someone says you collect junk.

This might not be about politics but it's not about nature either. All I see is social control. The writer said "Unlike crickets, humans have grown apart, our natural instincts completely forgotten. We often label this condition uniqueness, a pretty word for a sad thing. We are so intent on individuality that we neglect to maintain and nurture relationships with one another". We are all made different whether in appearances or nature, and, it would be a terrible thing to throw away any part of you that makes you who you are. To suggesting that it is because we want to be our own person is making this world a terrible place is beyond me. There are many other things to tackle that humans do that make this earth a bad place. How about selfishness and corruption and pitilessness. I don’t know if what she said was figurative or literal but I fail to see the intelligent in any of what was said.
P.s. did you know that crickets make that noise to attract a mate, like a competition to get the girl so I doubt they are trying to blend with the others, and when they do find one, after mating the female bites the males head off. Talk about pregnancy hormones. Maybe comparing crickets to humans is a bad comparison.
