New 'Harry Potter' Movie Moved to Summer 2009
Sorry to bum you out, Muggles, but you'll have to wait longer than expected to see 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.' Although post-production has been completed, Warner Bros. announced today that the movie release date has been pushed from November 21 to July 17, 2009.

No! I bet they're just worried about their competition. coughcoughTWILIGHTcough.Twilight comes out shortly after and both the remakes of their series were supposed to battle head to head to see who reigns champion. They probaly got a little nervous that going on at the same time they'll lose buisiness. They did a gutsy move but, during the summer more people will probaly see it for example the Dark Knight.

this is way unfair! Harry Potter is a Christmas movie, I'd rather go see harry potter in the winter than summer, actually, i dont even think that my parents will take me to it in the summer! this is so unfair!

Dudes, harry potter is a joke of a movie. Its message is demonic and its just not realistic and pretty dumb overall...the lady that wrote it is an atheist which gives you come insight into where its comin from. Why would you want to be in support of that?

NO NO NO One of the reasons they changed the date is that TWILIGHT was coming out the same day as Harry Potter (november 21). All for more money! They shouldnet have set a date AND put out the trailer if it wasnt going to come out until NEXT YEAR!!!!!
