Carrie Underwood not only co-hosted the 42nd Annual Country Music Association Awards, but she was also a big winner. Last night at Nashville's Sommet Center, the 25-year-old was named female vocalist of the year for the third consecutive time. "Mama, it's real hard to sing when you're in the second row crying," Carrie said while accepting her award after just performing 'Just a Dream.'
Kenny Chesney also had a memorable night at the ceremony as he was named entertainer of the year, yet again. This is the fourth time the singer has won the honor. "As much as tonight is about awards, I really believe that being able to stand up here is more about great songs," he said to the audience. "This is my fourth time standing up here, and I'm really humbled by it."
