The White Tie Affair began as a collaboration between Chris Wallace and Sean-P in the summer of 2006. The pair was rooted in alternative rock, but honed in on a pop sound found in one of their first compositions, 'Allow Me to Introduce Myself...Mr. Right,' which they posted anonymously on MySpace. Record labels eventually came knocking, and the Chicago-based duo added Ryan Cook (bass), Tim McLaughlin (drums) and Ryan McClain (keyboards/guitar) to form a full band. The White Tie Affair signed with Epic Records/Slightly Dangerous in 2007, and released their debut album, 'Walk This Way,' in April 2008. The five-piece's notoriety has accelerated with the help of a placement on MTV's 'The Hills,' a featured remix on Good Charlotte's 'Greatest Remixes' album and tours with the likes of Metro Station and Secondhand Serenade. The White Tie Affair is currently on tour with Lady GaGa through April 9, and will be out all summer on the 2009 Vans Warped Tour, beginning June 26.
